Day 16 of the trial, Camille Vasquez handles the first hour of the cross examination BRILLIANTLY! She just traps Heard in a corner in pursuit for answers to her question.
Actor Johnny Depp is suing ex-wife Amber Heard for $50 million for defamation in connection with Heard’s 2018 Washington Post op-ed, in which she spoke out about being the victim of domestic violence. Heard’s article did not specifically name Depp as her alleged abuser, but according to Depp’s lawsuit, it relied “on the central premise that Ms. Heard was a domestic abuse victim and that Mr. Depp perpetrated domestic violence against her.” Amber Heard is counter-suing Depp.

For some reason this cross-examination was so exciting to watch.

This looked SO MUCH WORSE than if she had simply said "no, I haven't donated the money yet" from the beginning. She couldn't have made it more obvious that she was hiding the truth if she tried.

Bro if she wins the case, I’ll lose faith in the word “Justice” I can’t imagine her winning on the basis of Technicality. If he loses this case, more men going through such issues will be hesitant to come out. Saying this as a female: She deserves to be in Jail. Violence is Violence. It doesn’t matter what gender you are

I love how she quickly slips in the “I have not not yet, Johnny sued me.” What a vile person.

The fact that they’ve caught her on numerous things but she still continues to twist her responses is terrifying. No shame in herself

She even tried blaming it on Johnny for suing her MONTHS AFTER she got the money and "pledged it" ☠️

I actually love how Camille is totally destroying this psycho while being so calm and soft spoken without as much as raising her voice. That's confidence. That's power

The first trial skill you learn is that you never ask a witness a question without knowing beforehand what the truth is. If you're under cross-examination and the opposing counsel is asking you to state a plain fact, there's a 100% chance they already know what the truth is. You're just digging your own grave by dodging the question.

Here's why the world is standing with Johnny:

This case is the only time she's ever used the word "pledge." In all media and interviews she's always said "has been donated" (as in past tense like it's already happened.) And here we are, finding out that she never did.

This case and trial will make history. It's time women start getting punished for perpetrating domestic violence. As a woman, I stand with all men who go through this without any hope for punishment. It's just heartbreaking.

If we held our elected officials to this same level of "answering questions" we would live in a wonderful country!!!

While it’s frustrating to see this vile woman STILL be so arrogant and smug when she tells her lies, it is satisfying to see her being forced to answer the questions thanks to the awesome Miss Camille! So unlike her 2016 testimony where she was obnoxiously shoving chocolate in her mouth to bind time to think of her lies and/or let her lawyer interrupt so she wouldn’t have to answer. She was even smirking when she was asked if she hit Johnny and rolled her eyes when she was listening to the recording of her admitting she hit him!

This woman is insane, hope the jury sees through her.🤞

This is what sociopaths do, when caught in a lie or being accused they twist the wording, play the victim and try to transfer the blame onto someone else to switch the guilt. They're scary people but interesting to talk to, as long as you keep your guard up.

The fact that she looks at the jury every single time is terrifying. It’s not just on w or a couple of times. But every. Single. Time. She turns and faces the jury. Wow.
